Roger performed a number market surveys and price adjustments to keep our property competitive in the Market as it was spiraling down.
Visibility is also a very important aspect of finding the right buyer for your property. Roger had a very aggressive marketing strategy for our property using a number of tried and true marketing channels, including hosting open houses at least once a month.
Once you find a qualified buyer, the fun really begins as you must deal with the mortgage lenders involved in the Short Sale. This can be the most frustrating and time consuming part of the process. Once we had a formal offer Roger engaged with the lenders to establish a Short Sale file and helped facilitated the process between the buyer, the seller and the mortgage lenders. The lenders are literally swamped in paper work and are almost impossible to get in contact with which requires multiple calls and messages. Roger was very responsive to the additional burden and overhead required to work with the lenders in a Short Sale process. What ever it took, Roger was there.
So, in summary… It can be done and it does pay to have a realtor professional like Roger on your side all the way. We could not have done it without him.
